Recipe for Change 2016 Raises Funds for FoodShare Toronto

What could be more fun than spending an evening tasting the culinary offerings of more than 30 Toronto chefs all in support of FoodShare Toronto. Recipe for Change 2016 takes place at St. Lawrence Market in Toronto on Thursday, February 25, 2016. St. Lawrence Market. Presented by Tangerine, this is the 7th year of FoodShare Toronto’s signature fundraising event.

FoodShare’s Field to Table Food Manager, Katie German as well as Executive Director Debbie Field are available for interviews pre-event and on the day of if you prefer. If you’d like to speak to one of the many talented chefs participating, that can also be arranged.

Chefs Appearing at Recipe for Change 2016

Some of the chefs taking part in Recipe for Change 2016 include:
Amanda Ray of Biff’s Bistro, Bashir Munye of My Little Dumplings, Rocco Agostino of Pizzeria Libretto, Daniel Schick of Omni King Edward Hotel, Claudia Gaviria of Cruda Café, Ricky Casipe of Hawthorne Food and Drink, Donna Ashley of Karelia Kitchen, and Steve Fernandes of Mata Petisco Bar among others. Beverage companies include:

FoodShare is a non-profit organization that works with communities and schools to deliver healthy food and food education. FoodShare believes everyone deserves access to affordable high-quality fresh food. Since 1985, FoodShare has operated programs including the Good Food Box, impacted what kids eat in school, and improved the way people eat and grow food across Toronto every day.

Tickets for Recipe for Change 2016

Recipe for Change 2016 takes place at St. Lawrence Market South Tent, 130 The Esplanade on Thursday, February 25, 2016 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. (Lower Jarvis St. and The Esplanade). Tickets are $132.48 and can be purchased online.

  1. I would love to attend this event! I don’t live far from the St. Lawrence Market. The food would be FAB and it’s such a great cause.
