As I’ve gotten older, I have found that I need to wear a comfortable shoe if I am going anywhere for any length of time. And in the summer, I can no longer get away with wearing dollar store flip flops without experiencing leg or foot pain. That’s why I was pleased to be given the chance to review Naot sandals for 2016, which are not only fashionable, but have a built-in footbed for comfort. (Disclosure: I received a complimentary pair of Naot Paris sandals in Beige Snake in order to complete my review.)
The Naot Footbed is made from cork and latex and covered in suede to absorb moisture, so your foot won’t stick to your shoe when it’s hot and humid. The footbed is designed to support and align your feet and skeletal structure.

Knowing that Naot sandals are helping to align not only my feet, but my skeletal structure is important to me. I want to know that I am not doing damage to my body by wearing inadequate footwear.
The shoe’s arch support allows your body weight to be evenly distributed and reduces pressure from your spinal column and joints.
The Deep Heel Indentation improves balance and maintains the natural shape of the heel pad that protects the heel bone. Wow, there is so much going on with these Naot sandals!
I was eager to wear Naot’s Paris sandals, $170, in order to see how comfortable they were. I usually take a size 9 or 9 1/2 and I found that Naot’s size 40 was a perfect fit. I quickly slipped the sandals on after they arrived and immediately noticed how comfortable they were. In fact, I didn’t want to take them off. The Paris sandal has a platform heel, which gives you a bit of height without jacking your heel up into an unnatural position.

I wore the Naot Paris sandals for several hours and they were just as comfortable as when I initially put them on. Further, I often notice with other brands that I need to “wear shoes in,” when I first get them and that can sometimes result in slight cuts or redness at the heel or toes. Not so with the Naot Paris sandals. There wasn’t a “wearing in” period; they immediately felt comfortable and I have worn them for several hours for the past six days and there have been no side effects on my feet.
The Naot Paris sandal may or may not be for you: I was looking for a neutral-coloured, low sandal with a backstrap for support. But check out these super fashionable styles from Naot:

Naot sandals for 2016 can be purchased online or at Walking On A Cloud.
I haven’t heard about Nato until you shared. I really like that it absorbs the moisture and it doesn’t stick. I always face these problems in summer and they also make a sound when you walk. I think I need to check out this brand. They have a lot of cool designs as well.
We don’t have that brand yet here in the Philippines. All the product photo looks very promising and very comfortable. This is so perfect for summer, wearing simple and beautiful design to complement those summer outfits. My eyes are beaming for Bianca and Paris 🙂
It looks really comfortable, I would love shoes like this 🙂
