With all the walking we do in the summer, it’s important to have a comfortable pair of sandals. I was recently introduced to KEEN Footwear, a company that has designed its footwear for people who love the outdoors. What that means for you is when you purchase a pair of KEEN shoes, you are going to get a shoe that is comfortable, durable and made from natural materials. Below, you’ll find a preview of KEEN new sandals for 2016. [Disclosure: I received a complimentary pair of KEEN Dauntless Ankle Sandals in Burnt Olive for the purposes of this review.]

KEEN New Sandals for 2016

KEEN has just introduced new women’s sandals for 2016. The Dauntless Ankle Sandal I received is part of their 2016 collection.

The Dauntless Ankle Sandal, $150, is made with a leather upper, leather-lined footbed cover and Cork footbed. There is about a 1/2″ heel. The sandal features contrasting straps in leather and material. The three strap colours include Burnt Olive (turquoise), Red Dahlia, Magnet (fuchsia) and Tortoise Shell (peach). I chose the Burnt Olive because I wear a lot of blue and turquoise tones in the summer. I requested a size 9 1/2, which is what I usually wear, and found that the sandals fit true to size.

The cork footbed allows your foot to mold to the footbed.

Are KEEN’s Dauntless Ankle Sandal comfortable? You bet! These sandals slipped on like a glove when I first put them on. They are super comfortable and did not leave any red marks on my feet from ill-fitting straps. They are also a bit dressier than typical sports sandals, which means that I’ll be able to wear them more places than just the boardwalk or the grocery store!

The Dauntless Posted Sandal, $140, pictured above, offers a more casual look.

I love the look of the Dauntless Strappy Sandal, $150. The slingback style and multiple straps give it a super sophisticated look. This sandal also comes in Burnt Olive (turquoise), Magnet (fuchsia) and Tortoise Shell (peach).

The Skyline Ankle, $140, in Mineral Blue is not only comfortable, but is stylish with a bit of edge. I can definitely see this show being worn to the office with a skirt or dress. This shoe also comes in Tortoise Shell (peach).
