What would summer be without beer? For many of us, that is just too hard to imagine. Luckily, for beer lovers, Toronto’s Festival of Beer, will be taking place at Bandshell Park at Exhibition Place from July 22-24, 2016.
The festival will showcase over 333 different beers for sampling, local food purveyors and live entertainment including Big Sugar Reggae Style, House of Pain and the Temperance Movement.

Sample Sweden!
This year, Toronto’s Festival of Beer will highlight Swedish beer during Sample Sweden! Working with the Swedish-Canadian Chamber of Commerce, the festival will feature six Swedish breweries and 28 different brands of Swedish beer. Most of these brands are not available for purchase in Canada. The Swedish breweries include:
- Brekeriet Beer AB
- Dugges Ale och Porterbryggeri
- Gotlands Bryggeri
- Omnipollo
- Poppels Bryggeri
- Tempel Brygghus
Two of Sweden’s celebrity chefs will be attending Toronto’s Festival of Beer. Chefs Peter J. Skogstrom and Roland Persson will be creating some of their tasty dishes for attendees to enjoy in both the Club House La Grille Grilling Tent and in the Sample Sweden pavilion.
