You may have discovered J.R. Watkins products while visiting the U.S. The manufacturer of personal care products and gourmet food, located in Winona, Minnesota, has launched J.R. Watkins Daily Moisturizing Body Washes in Canada at Loblaws and Shoppers Drug Mart stores.
J.R. Watkins has been in business since 1868 and are known for their skin care products containing natural ingredients. J.R. Watkins Daily Moisturizing Body Washes are made from 97% natural ingredients and are free of parabens, phthalate, propylene glycol and dye. They come in six aromas including Lemon Cream, Aloe & Green Tea, Coconut Milk & Honey, Grapefruit and Coriander & Cedar. I received complimentary samples of J.R. Watkins Daily Moisturizing Body Washes to conduct this review.
I tried both the Lemon Cream and Grapefuit Daily Moisturizing Body Washes and liked that they are both lightly scented so they should not be offensive to people with scent allergies. The body washes also foam very well and you don’t need to use a lot of the product. I used no more than the size of a nickel and found this was enough for my whole body. When you’ve dried off, you’ll notice the moisturizing effect of the body wash on your skin.
At $9.99 for 18 fluid ounces, J.R. Watkins’s Daily Moisturizing Body Washes are a great deal. Stock up for the coming cold weather when our skin needs extra moisturizing and put one in your daughter’s suitcase for university. These body washes are great for hydrating the skin without harmful chemicals.
I also received a sample of J.R. Watkins Pure Castile Soap in Clary Sage, $5.99. Made from olive oil and coconut oil, this soap lathers really well and leaves your skin extra soft. The soap is quite large so it should last for a few months. The Clary Sage soap has a lovely fresh herb fragrance that is very light. J.R. Watkins Pure Castile Soap can be purchased online at Amazon Canada.
