Okay, so the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) is obviously about the debut of some pretty amazing films, but let’s be honest: it’s also about the extravagant parties! TIFF draws so many celebrities to Toronto and the TIFF party seriously represents.
Torontonicity was invited to attend the inaugural launch of Maison Moët presented by Moët & Chandon on September 8, 2016. The TIFF event took place at the historic La Maquette on King Street East, which was spun by special guest DJ Hannah Bronfman. What a way to kick-off TIFF 2016!! This place was bumping, the champagne was flowing and the A listers were out to party. A listers at Maison Moet included punk rock artist Fefe Dobson, hip-hop artist Jazz Cartier and Chef Susur Lee.

The party took place on both floors of this classic art deco venue with a dance floor on the main level and an absolutely stunningly decorated second floor and just screamed high class. VIP sections were separated by gorgeous black velvet curtains. This art deco venue was the perfect place to host this champagne company’s elegant soirée.

We were treated to complimentary Moët & Chandon champagne all evening. I took the opportunity to put my feet up and enjoy the amazing vibe at Maison Moët.
TIFF continues until Sunday September 18, 2016. Read our blog post on pop up events during TIFF 2016 to find out where the celebrities are hanging out.
