Torontonicity was invited to Carbon Bar on Queen Street East in Toronto on September 21, 2016 to taste their delicious Nova Scotia Lobster Burger. The lobster burger is on special for $20 with the purchase of an Alexander Keith beer during the month of September 2016.
When we walked into the Carbon Bar hallway, it was kind of dark and moody. The hostess, however, greeted us warmly and we were shown to our table right away. We were seated at a comfy leather “L-shaped” table.
Drinks:
We promptly ordered our drinks: my friend chose a Black Mamba Margarita for $15 and I opted for a pit-fired Old-Fashioned for $14.

Next, we ordered the Korean Fried Cauliflower for $9. Our server joked that it was the reason she decided to work there! Seriously, this is the tastiest cauliflower you will ever eat. It’s spicy. though, so be warned. It’s a gentle residual heat that keeps you coming back for more.
The star attraction, the Lobster Burger, is $20 with the purchase of a pint of Alexander Keith’s beer during September 2016.

This is a delicious lobster burger where they don’t scrimp on the lobster. It handily comes with a sharp knife plunged in the centre so I took the hint and cut my burger in half. My friend made the mistake of smushing hers first and it didn’t end as well. The burger toppings included: smoked bacon, truffled hollandaise, a juicy beefsteak tomato, pickle and Old Bay mayo. I gorged on the first half, and then heated my other half up the following day and I swear I think it was almost better!

We couldn’t resist ordering We All Scream for Ice Cream for $9. This included a standard three scoops of ice cream (vanilla-banana-dulce-de-leche) to finish our meal. It was nice to have that little sweetness to balance the spicy Korean Fried Cauliflower. My favourite flavour was the dulce de leche!

Our server was lovely and attentive, the atmosphere fun but cozy and the food was delicious. Put Carbon Bar on your restaurant to visit list and make sure you drop in by September 30, 2016 to take advantage of their lobster burger special.
That food looks so unreal! I think my husband would die over that burger! I would love to try this!

The burger and the ice cream whisper in my ear. “eat me”. Very tempting indeed. The burger looks scrumptious.
