If you love visiting Evergreen Brick Works in the summer and fall, you are going to enjoy visiting their Winter Village, which opens Saturday, December 10, 2016 and runs to Friday, December 23, 2016. The Winter Village offers you a chance to shop for local products and food and participate in outdoor activities while enjoying holiday programming in a fabulous, natural setting.

Presented by Manulife, Evergreen Brick Works Winter Village features three public markets: the Street Food Market, the Evergreen Garden Market and the Holiday Makers Market hosted by Etsy. All proceeds support Evergreen in building sustainable flourishing cities.
Special programs will take place each day of the Winter Village from Saturday, December 10, 2016 to Friday, December 23, 2016 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekends.
Street Food Market
Enjoy diverse fare from street-style eateries from across the GTA. Some of the culinary offerings include raclette, vegan pasta, Indian and Ethiopian dishes, Cantonese-style sandwiches, Asado BBQ-style meats, Tibetan momos, pizza, baked savoury pies, pulled pork, smoked brisket, spare ribs and sweet Hungarian pastries.

Holiday Makers Market in partnership with Etsy
Get your holiday shopping done at the Holiday Makers Market hosted by Etsy Canada, which takes place Dec. 10-23, 2016. You’ll be able find holiday decor, handmade accessories and original art from over 60 crafters, artists and vendors.
Evergreen Garden Market
Don’t forget to visit the Evergreen Garden Market, which is open year-round, where you’ll find home decor, books, children’s games and toys and gourmet food made by artisans and producers in Canada. From November 15, 2016 onwards, find fresh greenery including wreaths, garlands and potted greenery, as well as a variety of fresh-cut Christmas trees.
Outdoor Activities
Hike through the 40-acre Weston Family Quarry Garden and Don Valley Brick Works area and go fat biking with Sweet Pete’s Bike Shop through the Don Valley trail system. Children can participate in winter-themed scavenger hunts and nature-based activities and crafts in the Children’s Garden. Enjoy free public skating on the outdoor skating rink beginning Saturday, December 10, 2016 (weather permitting).
I love their skating rink but I’ve never been to the winter village! Looks like a great outing!
