Canada is turning 150 on Saturday, July 1, 2017. It really is a reason to celebrate and there will be additional fireworks displays in Toronto to commemorate the big day. If you don’t usually go to watch fireworks because they are located downtown or are not close to your home, don’t worry. There are many places where you can see fireworks on Canada Day in Toronto 2017.
Canada Day Fireworks at Humber Bay Park West
Enjoy Canada Day fireworks at Humber Bay Park West on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 10:55 p.m. Celebrations will be taking place all day long from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. including two stages with performances featuring local and national artists. There will be food and beverages for sale from vendors. Free admission. Humber Bay Park West is located at 15 Marine Parade Drive.
Canada Day Fireworks at Nathan Phillips Square
Enjoy day-long celebrations from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. and fireworks at 10:55 p.m. at Nathan Phillips Square on Saturday, July 1, 2017. There will be many performers on two stages including Ron Sexsmith and the Toronto Symphony Orchestra with guest Rose Cousins performing at 9:45 p.m. on the Main Stage. Nathan Phillips Square is located at 100 Queen Street West. Free admission.
Canada Day Fireworks at Mel Lastman Square
Mel Lastman Square will be the site of Canada Day fireworks at 10:55 p.m. on Saturday, July 1, 2017. All day from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. there will be urban music performances, outdoor theatre, circus arts and food and beverages for sale. Free admission. Mel Lastman Square is located at 5100 Yonge Street.
Canada Day Fireworks at Ashbridges Bay Park
Fireworks on Canada Day in Toronto will take place at Ashbridges Bay Park on Saturday, July 1, 2017 after 9:30 p.m. There will be a special viewing area for people with disabilities and their families. Ashbridges Bay Park is located at 1675 Lake Shore Blvd. E. at the foot of Coxwell Avenue. Free admission.
Canada Day Fireworks at Canada’s Wonderland
Canada’s Wonderland will be having Canada Day fireworks on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 10 p.m. Admission to Canada’s Wonderland on Canada Day is Adults $42.99 plus tax and fees (online) and Juniors/Seniors $38.99 plus tax and fees (online). Entrance after 4 p.m. on Sat., July 1 is $34.99. Canada’s Wonderland is located at 1 Canada’s Wonderland Drive (Jane Street and Rutherford Rd.), Vaughan.
Canada Day Fireworks at Stan Wadlow Park
Enjoy fireworks on Canada Day in Toronto at Stan Wadlow Park at 10 p.m. There will be entertainment on the Main Stage and food and beverages for purchase from 12 noon to 10:30 p.m. on Canada Day. Stan Wadlow Park is located at 888 Cosburn Avenue (just east of Woodbine Avenue).
