It’s that time of year when things get spooo-kyyy. Halloween is a time to let your guard down and dress up as your alter-ego. There are many Toronto events to celebrate before October 31: you might want to check out some of these Halloween events in Toronto 2017.

Dark Waters at Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada

Party with the shark at Dark Waters, Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada’s Halloween party on Friday, October 27, 2017. Enjoy drinks, enter the costume contest while enjoying the spectacular views as you dance the night away. Dark Waters is part of Splash!, a 5-part special event series at the aquarium. Dark Waters takes place on Friday, October 27, 2017 from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. Tickets are $28 plus HST and can be purchased online. Annual Pass members save 50%. 19+ event.

Spooky Lagoon: Toronto Island Stories

Take a narrated boat tour among the lagoons of the Toronto Islands and hear anecdotes including the murder of the lighthouse keeper of Gibraltar Point Lighthouse from long-time Island resident, Jimmy Jones. You’ll also hear about Hurrican Hazel, Babe Ruth and the sunken ships in Lake Ontario. Tours take place Oct. 5-18, 2017 on weekends only from 7:40 p.m. to 11:20 p.m. Early bird tickets are $25 and can be purchased online. Screemers at Exhibition Place

One of the most popular Halloween events in Toronto 2017, Screemers takes place at the Queen Elizabeth Building at Exhibition Place from October 6-31, 2017 (various dates). Get your fright on by visiting the House of Cards, The Darkness labyrinth, The Haunted House, Field of Screams maze, Slasher Wax Museum, Skull Castle and Zombie Prizon. Enjoy a cocktail at The Vampire Lounge (additional fee) and food including Pizza Pizza, Tiny Tim Donuts, hot dogs and finger snacks (additional fee).

Legends of Horror at Casa Loma

The Legends of Horror takes place at Casa Loma from Sept. 29 to Oct. 31, 2017. Enjoy a walking tour in the lower gardens of Casa Loma and its tunnels and dark chambers decorated in theatrically designed sets below the castle, encountering classic horror figures. Legends of Horror involves a 2 km walking tour and takes just over an hour. Tickets are $40 online and $45 at the door.

Halloween Haunt at Canada’s Wonderland

Make your way through frightening mazes, scare zones and encounter 700 monsters roaming throughout the park. Halloween Haunt takes place Oct. 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, 15, 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, 29 and 31, 2017 from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. Halloween Haunt admission is as low as $34.99 online. Season passholder admission is as low as $24.99 online. Buy online and save up to $14 off price at the park. Not recommended for children under 13. Guests will not be permitted into the park if wearing makeup/costumes. Canada’s Wonderland is located at 1 Canada’s Wonderland Drive (Major Mackenzie Dr. W. and Hwy 400), Vaughan.

  1. Hoping to go to Legends of Horror at Casa Loma this year. I have a feeling it would be really spooky and a lot of fun.
