Imperial Tea Miracle Face Mask from Teaology
Imperial Tea Miracle Face Mask from Teaology

I’m been gradually going green with my skincare products. One of the reasons is, as I’ve gotten older, I’ve become less tolerant of chemical scents – they simply bother my nose the way they never did before. I’m also more concerned about the chemicals and additives in food I eat so that concern has transferred over to my skincare regime. I want to share with you my favourite green beauty products for fall 2018. With the change in season, why not considering swapping your old skincare products for some of these new green beauty products. [Disclosure: I received all of the products in this blog post on a complimentary basis in order to complete my review.]

Imperial Tea Miracle Face Mask from Teaology

Teaology Imperial Tea Miracle Face Mask

What’s in it:

White tea leaf infusion immersed in kaolin and hyaluronic acid.

Why I love it:

Because it contains a pure tea infusion. Not only do I enjoy drinking tea, but tea is rich in antioxidants so not only is it good for your body, but it’s good for your skin. This Teaology face mask is so easy to apply and the texture is amazing…it also contains real tea leaves! The product is gentle to use on my very sensitive skin and easily removed with warm water, unlike many clay-based masks, which require a lot of scrubbing. The Teaology Imperial Tea Miracle Face Mask gives my complexion an instant glow!

Cost and Where To Purchase:

Teaology Imperial Tea Miracle Face Mask is $49.99 for 50 ml. Purchase online at Teaology.

basd Body Lotion in Seductive Sandalwood
basd Body Lotion in Seductive Sandalwood

basd Body Lotion in Seductive Sandalwood

What’s in it:

organic aloe vera juice, organic sunflower oil, organic shea butter, organic coconut oil, organic coconut butter, coffee extract, bergamot sandalwood fragrance.

Why I love it:

The spicy and woody bergamot sandalwood scent is intoxicating and grounding, which is something I look for in natural scents to keep me feeling balanced. Unlike other lotions, this scent lasts for 7+ hours. Although the sandalwood scent is heavy, the weight of the lotion itself is light…it doesn’t feel like you are wearing an added layer! The organic ingredients include organic coconut oil, which is antibacterial and antifungal and organic aloe vera juice, which is abundant in antioxidants. I also like that this plant-based skincare is cruelty free, paraben free and non-GMO.

Cost and Where To Purchase:

basd Body Lotion in Seductive Sandalwood is $24.99 for 450 ml. Purchase basd Body Lotion in Seductive Sandalwood online at basd.

Matcha Mint Shampoo from Graydon Skincare

What’s in it:

Matcha Mint Shampoo contains Matcha tea, chia extract, hemp oil, sunflower seed extract, peppermint and vanilla scents.

Why I love it:

If one whiff of this mint shampoo doesn’t have you convinced that you want this intoxicating scent in your hair, then I don’t know what to tell you. (Can you tell that a product’s smell is VERY important to me?) Unlike many natural shampoos, Matcha Mint Shampoo from Graydon Skincare does produce lather so you don’t end up leaving half of the shampoo in your hair. Matcha Mint Shampoo’s natural ingredients don’t strip your hair of its natural oils; my hair feels clean and moisturized after using this shampoo. I absolutely love the minty scent of my hair after using this shampoo. Plus, Graydon Skincare is a Canadian green company. Bonus!!

Where To Purchase:

Matcha Mint Shampoo is $25 for 240 ml. Purchase online at Graydon Skincare.

Biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil
Biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil

Biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil

What’s in it:

Biossance’s key ingredient is Squalane, which is naturally found in the body. Squalane begins to decline in our 20s, resulting in dry skin. Squalane is also found in a variety of plants and in shark liver. Biossance contains Squalane oil that is 100% plant based from renewable sugarcane. Other ingredients are Vitamin C and Rose Oil.

Why I love it:

Biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil hydrates my skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines. The product’s rose oil is known for being an anti-inflammatory and I find that this oil does a great job of calming my rosacea-prone skin. The oil absorbs well into my skin and it smells great! It’s also versatile because I can use it both as a morning and evening moisturizer. I really like that the product’s source of Squalane oil is 100% plant-based.

Where To Purchase:

Biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil is $25 for 240 ml. Purchase at Sephora or online at Biossance.

Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Exfoliating Peel Spray and Phyto Pigments Liquid Line and Define
Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Exfoliating Peel Spray and Phyto Pigments Liquid Line and Define

Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Exfoliating Peel Spray

What’s in it:

Fruit stem cells from lemon leaf, apple buds and grape buds; organic cucumber extract; organic aloe; organic licorice root extract; Vitamin C. No parabens, sulfates, phthalates, petroleum or silicone. Vegan and cruelty free.

Why I love it:

Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Exfoliating Peel Spray provides a quick exfoliation when you don’t have time for a longer treatment. I love that you can just spray it on, gently rub your face with an organic cotton cloth or your fingers and then wash it off. It doesn’t replace products that perform a deeper exfoliation, but it does provide your face with a quick removal of dead skin and thus gives you smoother skin and an instant glow.

Where To Purchase:

Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Exfoliating Peel Spray is $64 for 50 ml/1.7 oz. and can be purchased at Murale by Shoppers Drug Mart or Sephora.
