Halloween is Thursday, October 31, 2019, but many people like to celebrate all month long. There are many Halloween events in Toronto in 2019 leading up to the big day. Read further to find out about a few of our favourite Toronto Halloween events in 2019:

Halloween Haunt at Canada’s Wonderland 2019
Get your fright on at mazes including Blood Shed, Cornstalkers, The Crypt, Spirit Manor, Forest of Fear, Code Red and The Ruins. Visit scare zones such as Wicked Hollow, The Graveyard, CarnEvil, Ghostly Pines, The Plague and Trick or Treat at your own risk. Get spooked at live shows including Vampire Disco, Sinner’s Lounge and Devil’s Circus. Encounter 700 monsters roaming throughout the park. Halloween Haunt takes place Oct. 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, 28 and 31, 2018 from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. Halloween Haunt admission is as low as $32.99. Save $16 off front gate price when you purchase online. Not recommended for children under 13. Guests will not be permitted into the park if wearing makeup/costumes. Canada’s Wonderland is located at 1 Canada’s Wonderland Drive (Major Mackenzie Dr. W. and Hwy 400), Vaughan.
Legends of Horror at Casa Loma
There is no better venue than Toronto’s own Gothic Revival mansion to host a scary Halloween event in Toronto! Legends of Horror takes place at Casa Loma from September 27, 2019 to October 31, 2019.
Take a self-guided 2 kilometre tour through the Casa Loma gardens where you’ll encounter classic horror figures in theatrical sets during this one hour interaction. The walk will take you through the castle’s tunnels and some areas not previously open to the public. A 3D projection on the castle walls brings the characters to life.
Early bird tickets are available from Sept. 27 – Oct. 16, 2019 and are $40 plus applicable service fees online and $45 at the door.
Regular tickets are Oct. 17 – Oct 31, 2019 and are $45 plus applicable service fees online and $50 at the door.
Note: Tickets purchased onsite are on a first-come, first-served and admission is subject to capacity.
Legends of Horror is a separately ticketed event; it is not included with Casa Loma General Admission. Children 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Legends of Horror happens rain or shine.

Screemers at Exhibition Place 2019
If you’re looking for one of the scarier Halloween events in Toronto 2019, Screemers is for you. Make your way through seven haunted mazes with 120 scare actors ready to give you a spook. Screemers takes place at the Better Living Center at Exhibition Place from Friday, October 11, 2019 to Saturday, November 2, 2019 (see dates and times below). Get your fright on by visiting the House of Cards, Zombie Prizon, The Darkness, The Haunted House, Field of Screams maze, Slasher Wax Museum, and Skull Castle and The Kill Show. Admission includes unlimited rides at Midway of Horrors. Enjoy a cocktail at The Vampire Lounge (additional fee) and food including Pizza Pizza, Tiny Tim Donuts, hot dogs and finger snacks (additional fee). General admission is $33.95 plus HST – Front of the line Fast Pass is $13 + HST; Oct. 26 and 27, 2019 $35.95 plus HST – Front of the line Fast Pass is $15 + HST. Only cash is accepted at the ticket box.

Howling Hootenanny at Black Creek Pioneer Village
Black Creek Pioneer Village hosts Howling Hootenanny on Oct. 19, 20, 26 and 27, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Kids can watch the Creepy Creature Show, get a Happy Face Airbrush Tattoo, wander through the Haunted Maze (12 p.m. to 4 p.m.), take part in the Apple Sling Shot, participate in free pumpkin decorating (while supplies last) or enjoy trick-or-treat in the village. Adults (15-59) $15; Children (5-14) $11; Seniors (60+) $12; Students (with ID) $12; under 5 Free.


Monster Dash at Ontario Science Centre 2019
Monster Dash race event takes place at the Ontario Science Centre on Sunday, October 27, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Dress up in your scariest costume and join over 1,000 participants in this Halloween fun run and walk at Sunnybrook Park. There will be a 5K and 10K chip timed run for adults and a spooky mile run for kids. New for 2019 is the Tough Pumpkin Addition: Carry a medium-sized pumpkin along the 5k or 10k routes and receive a bonus finisher’s gift, plus you get to keep the pumpkin. Celebrate at the after run costume party with complimentary food and drink. Tickets are Adults 10K $50-$65; Adults 5K $50-$60; Youth (17 and under) 10K $40-$60; Youth (17 and under) 5K $35; Spooky Mile (13 and under) $25; Family Pricing $$195-$225.
