Some of My Picks from the One of a Kind Winter Show 2018
After breakfast, my first stop at the show was Anne-Marie Chagnon at Booth I-44. This Quebec designer creates modern and affordable jewellery using a variety of materials. I was really impressed with her Fall Winter 2018 collection. I particularly loved the way she combined strings of coloured leather with pewter bars. Here are a few of the pieces from the collection:

I enjoyed talking to Sinead, creator of Fada Clothing, Booth A-56. Sinead has handcrafted headbands in all the colour combinations you can imagine so if you are trying to match your coat, stop by her booth. The headbands are very affordable at $45 and super stylish. Sinead is also the owner of The Irish Design House in Leslieville.

My next stop was Gourmet Inspirations at Booth F-52. When I saw they had Salted Caramel Whisky Dessert Sauce, $12, I had to give it a try. This sauce is killer! Although they suggest using this sauce on waffles or ice cream, I thought it would create a savoury-sweet flavour profile if you paired a teaspoon of the sauce with steak. The Salted Caramel Whisky Dessert Sauce would make a great hostess gift or even stocking stuffers for a foodie!
Isn’t this the cutest dress? The Margaux Polka Dot Dress, $425, from Diana Coatworth Design at Booth Q-48 has a bit of stretch in it for a body-flattering profile.
I absolutely adored these cardinals on reclaimed wood, $44, by The Saltbox Shoppe at Booth X-44. These would make a great housewarming gift or gift to give to cottage owners. The artist created these pieces in memory of her father, who recently passed and who ardently loved cardinals.

Don’t forget to pick up some dog treats for your best friend while you’re at the One of a Kind Show 2018. Pet Creations at Booth was selling these holiday dog treats for $2.25-$3.50

I thought these Gnomes by Mari at Booth T-12 were really cute and festive.
