MUJI has reopened their Yonge and Dundas location after a serious expansion project, making it the largest location outside of Asia! The Japanese retailer is known for their clean aesthetic, and have been a hit with minimalists here since they originally opened in Toronto four years ago. MUJI will be reopening their newly renovated Toronto Flagship store, making it the largest MUJI store outside of Asia.

Torontonicity had a sneak preview of the expanded MUJI store at 595 Bay Street on November 22, 2018. Guests enjoyed a Japanese saké service, MUJI snacks and delicious hors d’oeuvres courtesy of The Drake.

The flagship store is now two levels and includes a much larger selection of houseware, kids clothing and toys, kitchenware, and an aroma station! This makes it the perfect one stop shop for holiday gifts or stocking stuffers. I recommend you grab a delicious espresso at their new second floor cafe while you wait for your custom embroidery design to be completed.
