Email Marketing: Tips for Successful Email Newsletters

Every successful business person knows that building relationships with your customers is key to creating a business that will last for the long term. One of the most effective ways to do this is via monthly email newsletters. Do you send an email newsletter to your customers?

 

I have a newsletter that is linked to my blog; however, I have to admit that I don’t send out my email newsletter as often as I should. I always send out my newsletter when I am hosting giveaways on my blog to make sure my subscribers are aware and have a chance to enter. But I’m not consistent. I suppose part of me fears that if I contact my newsletter subscribers too frequently, they will unsubscribe from my newsletter. Nevertheless, the experts say that email newsletters should be sent out on a regular basis to provide consistency and to update your customers on the latest news, whether that be a sale or new products or services being offered from your business.   1. Amazing tips. I’m so glad there are good tools to automate much of this. Can you imagine the amount of work if we had to do it all manually!?

  2. I have my newsletter set up to post my blog feed. I realize I could do more with it but I just don’t have time for a weekly newsletter. I love the idea of doing a monthly newsletter though. Thanks for the prompting to start right away.

  3. I hire somebody to do this for me. I think she is doing a good job already but there are still some areas for improvement. I am going to share this post with her.
