The Great Hall
Located in trendy West Queen West, The Great Hall was built in 1889 as a venue for the YMCA. With influences from the Queen Anne Revivial style that was popular at the time, this imposing Victorian building features a flagstaff tower and beautiful high bay windows to let in a lot of light for your wedding. Although the building is historic, it has an updated air conditioning system, complimentary WiFi, state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems and is fully accessible. The Great Hall can accommodate up to 1200 people for a wedding, has an open vendor policy and offers flexible decor guidelines. The Great Hall is located at 1087 Queen Street West.
Malaparte at TIFF Bell Lightbox
Up on the 6th floor of TIFF Bell Lightbox, you’ll find a stunning venue with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city and an optional rooftop terrace with tent for your wedding reception. Malaparte can accommodate up to 150 people for a sit-down dinner and up to 200 for a reception. Fees for spring and summer weddings are $3,000 for the room rental with a minimum spend for food and beverages of $12,000 for Friday wedding receptions from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. and $2,000 for the room with a minimum spend for food and beverages of $18,000 for Saturday receptions from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. If you want to use the rooftop terrace and tent, you’ll be charged an additional $2,500. Alcohol must be purchased from their menu and cannot be brought in.
Island Yacht Club
Why not gather up all your guests and whisk them off on the ferry to Centre Island for a private wedding reception at the Island Yacht Club. Your wedding will have a cottage feel without having to leave the city. The clubhouse was renovated in 2006 and features spectacular views of Lake Ontario and Centre Island parkland.

Graydon Hall Manor
Located at 185 Graydon Hall Drive at Don Mills Rd. north of York Mills, Graydon Hall Manor offers a phenomenal setting with spectacular groomed gardens in the vein of for outdoor dining or cocktails. You can choose a terrace canopy that will seat up to 250 guests or an air-conditioned dining room in the Georgian period manor. Rental of the terrace canopy is $13,400 while the manor rental, which includes the use of the dining room, conservatory, library, bridal suite, groom’s room, courtyard and gardens is $5,000 for Fridays and Sundays (5 p.m. to 2 a.m.) from May to October and $10,000 for Saturdays (5 p.m. to 2 a.m.) from May to October. The minimum spend for Fridays and Sundays from May to October is $25,000 while the minimum spend for Saturdays from May to October is $35,000. There is no minimum spend requirement from November to April, and the manor rental fee during that period is $3,000. Parking is available for an additional cost.
Airship 37
Airship 37 by Berkeley Events is a contemporary Toronto event space offering a minimalist style. Enjoy cocktails in The Gooderhan Lounge, which features a customized bar, stylish lounge furniture, and an original antique Parisian chandelier. A seated wedding dinner can be held at The Hangar, a large, industrial open space with a state of the art sound system and lighting package. The Hangar’s 2,430 square foot space accommodates 400 people standing or 180 people seated. Wedding guests will enjoy eclectic touches such as the airstream bus and astroturf in the outdoor patio. Venue rates are Monday and Tuesday $1800; Wednesday to Friday $3100; Saturday $3800. Half Day Rates are Monday to Thursday (7 a.m. – 4 p.m.) $1500; Friday to Sunday (7 a.m. – 3 p.m.) $2000.
Argonaut Rowing Club
One of the more unique wedding venues in Toronto, the Argonaut Rowing Club is a casual, lakeside venue. The club’s Henley Room, which has been the site of many weddings, features French doors that open on to a 750 square foot terrace overlooking Lake Ontario. The air-conditioned Henley Room has more than 60 feet of windows with a lake view and can seat a maximum of 180 persons or 250 for a cocktail reception. The club has a list of preferred suppliers and caterers and you must purchase alcohol from their bar.
The Henley Room rental from Sunday to Thursday is $2,700; rental on Friday, Saturday and holidays is $3,500. Ceremony Onsite is Indoors $300, Dockside $700. The Minimum Required Bar Spend from Monday to Thursday is $18 per person. Minimum Required Bar Spend from Friday to Sunday and Holidays is $3,000.
Free parking for your guests is included. The Argonaut Rowing Club is located at 1225 Lake Shore Blvd. W., just west of Jameson Ave.

Miller Lash House
Set upon the Highland Creek Valley at 130 Old Kingston Rd., the Miller Lash House specializes in outdoor weddings and can seat up to 220 people on their outdoor tented patio and 300 people standing. The tent has clear walls in order to view Highland Creek and the expansive gardens. If you choose the Miller Lash House for your wedding reception, you’ll have exclusive use of the venue. Friday evening receptions cost $3,200 plus HST while Saturday and Sunday receptions are $4,200 plus HST. Caterers must be chosen from a list of exclusive suppliers. You can, however, obtain an LCBO permit to provide alcohol at LCBO prices, which will reduce your bar costs substantially. Free parking is available for your guests.
Miller Lash House has a preferred caterer list that includes Marigolds & Onions Catering, 10tation Catering, Presidential Gourmet, En Ville Event Design & Catering, Daniel et Daniel Event Creation & Catering, Catertrendz and Zuchter Berk Kosher Caterers. Caterers will arrange for meal related event rentals, provide professional service staff to do set-up, food and bar services, as well as clean up after the event. Their all-inclusive (rentals, staff, food services) packages range between $125 and $155 per person. They do not work with catering companies outside of their exclusive list.
