Those O’s – Marcus, Mary Margaret, Catherine & Michael present the 42nd Martian Awareness Ball

This is bound to be one of the most fun St. Patrick’s Day events in Toronto 2020! Mary Margaret, Marcus, Catherine (yes, of Schitt’s Creek!) and Michael O’Hara present the 42nd Annual Martian Awareness Ball on St Patrick’s Day, Tues March 17, 2020 at the Horseshoe Tavern. The evening will feature performances by Mary Margaret O’Hara and her all-star band, All The Bottle Ladies, along with special friends. Tickets are $20 for this 19+ event and can be purchased online.


St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Toronto 2020

Whether you have Irish blood or not, you’ll want to turn up for this popular St. Patrick’s Day parade celebrating Irish culture and heritage. Now in its 33rd year, the parade, which takes place on Sunday, March 15, 2020 from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. has grown to include a number of diverse community groups. This free event is appropriate for all ages. The parade begins at 12 p.m. on the corner of Bloor Street West and St. George Street (near St. George subway station) and heads east on Bloor Street, turns south on Yonge Street and then turns west on Queen Street, finishing at the parade reviewing stand at Nathan Phillips Square. There is a physical disability viewing area is at North of Bloor by St George right where the parade begins.

Guinness SPD Party

One of the largest St. Patrick’s Day parties will take place on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 11 Polson Street. The doors open at 11:30 a.m. and the party goes on until 9 p.m. The day begins with a pancake breakfast at 11:30 a.m., a Lucky Charm Cereal Bar at 12 p.m., a variety of food options, and an airbrush tattoo artist and press-on tattoo booth. Enjoy Irish dancers and live bands on the Main Stage, side rooms with multiple DJs, three outdoor patios with interactive games, inflatables, life size beer pong and interactive photo booths. Drum Social at Waakebiness-Bryce with Spirit Wind Women’s Hand Drum Group

Join a celebration of hand drumming and singing hosted by The Waakebiness-Bryce Institute for Indigenous Health on Tuesday, March 17, 2020. Michele Perpaul and the Spirit Wind Women’s Hand Drum Group will perform! Participants are welcome to drop-in anytime to drum, sing, or simply observe.
