The dry, winter air can be a cause of wrinkles. Women who use Vichy LiftActiv Supreme H.A. Wrinkle Filler reported a reduction of 47% in their wrinkles.

I’m at the age where I have a few more wrinkles than I care to admit. Unfortunately, in my early thirties, I did not pay much attention to skincare – I was more focused on makeup! Hindsight is 20/20, right? Fast forward many years and I am now diligent about my skincare routine. I try to hydrate my skin by drinking enough water, eating enough fruits and vegetables, and using serums that contain Hyaluronic Acid such as Vichy LiftActiv Supreme H.A. Wrinkle Filler.

As a Toronto-based influencer, we can no longer meet in-person to attend beauty product launch events. As a result, Vichy recently held a Digital International Conference to introduce their new Vichy LiftActiv Supreme H.A. Wrinkle Filler. Beauty product bloggers and media worldwide attended online to learn about the benefits of this new anti-aging wrinkle serum. The team at Vichy, which includes physicians and research scientists, explained the chemistry of their new anti-wrinkle serum.

The Exposome

The philosophy behind Vichy’s new anti-aging wrinkle serum is acknowledging the impact of the exposome – external and internal factors – on women’s skin. These factors include pollution, UV, ozone, immune system, nutrition, lack of sleep, chronic stress, and smoking. Vichy has been a pioneer in the area of the exposome, having spent 40 years researching the influence of these factors.

Vichy dermatologist Dr. Delphine Kerob advised that UV exposure is responsible for 80% of aging. [I wish I knew that when I was suntanning in my backyard in my teens and early 20s!] When UV and pollution are combined, there is a higher negative impact on the skin. Other culprits that lead to more wrinkles include a diet full of meat, dairy and sugar. Chronic stress, Dr. Kerob added, can lead to acne and dry skin.

How does Vichy LiftActiv Supreme H.A. Wrinkle Filler reduce wrinkles?

The product contains a high concentration of Hyaluronic Acid: 1.5%, which helps to maintain your skin’s elasticity. Hyaluronic Acid, which is found in the dermis layer of your skin, is highly impacted by exposome factors. Vichy’s wrinkle filler serum recharges and protects your skin’s Hyaluronic Acid.

Vichy LiftActiv Supreme H.A. Wrinkle Filler also contains 2% Vitamin CG, which provides antioxidant protection and antiaging properties. You should also know that the wrinkle filler is fragrance-free, paraben-free, alcohol-free, and oil & silicone-free.

And if you are wondering whether Vichy LiftActiv Supreme H.A. Wrinkle Filler is suitable for all skin types, Vichy clinically evaluated their wrinkle filler 4,000 times on sensitive skin.

How do you apply the product?

There is a plastic cone-shaped top that comes with the product that you attach to the bottle. This allows you to apply the product directly to your face by squeezing out three or four drops. The plastic top means that the product can be applied directly to your face without contamination from your fingers. The directions on the product say to use the serum morning and night. After applying the wrinkle filler serum, you can apply your moisturizer. VIchy has both a day and night moisturizer to use in tandem with its wrinkle filler: Vichy LiftActiv Supreme, $49.95 and VichyLiftActiv Supreme Night, $49.95.

Does Vichy LiftActiv Supreme H.A. Wrinkle Filler work?

In short, yes, it does. I didn’t even have to try the product for several weeks in order to notice a difference although we were informed that we would see a 47% reduction in wrinkles in six weeks. First of all, my problem “wrinkle” areas are on my forehead and at the outer corner of my eyes (“crow’s feet”). I noticed that my forehead was looking a bit smoother after a week-and-a-half of using Vichy’s wrinkle filler serum. I haven’t noticed any reduction in my crow’s feet yet but will update my blog post in a few weeks.

You can purchase Vichy LiftActiv Supreme H.A. Wrinkle Filler, $62.95 (30 ml), at Vichy online or at Shoppers Drug Mart.
