Halloween is approaching and I’m excited that more people will be celebrating this year as a result of proof of COVID-19 vaccines and lower COVID-19 case counts in Ontario. As a result, many popular Toronto Halloween events are taking place in 2021. Read below to find out where to get your spook on:

Legends of Horror at Casa Loma 2021

Legends of Horror will transform the grounds of Casa Loma for the whole month of October. Visitors will walk at their own pace along a two-kilometre trail that begins at the lower gardens, continues through the castle’s tunnels and dark spaces never before open to the public.

Tickets are $37.66 (including fees) and can be purchased online. Tickets are date and time-specific. Legends of Horror Admission is not included with Casa Loma General Admission tickets.

Guest screening, contact tracing, and physical distancing are in place. Masks are required to be worn. Proof of vaccination will not be required for Legends of Horror guests at Casa Loma. Guests dining at the Glass Pavilion must provide proof of vaccination.

Children 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Parental discretion is advised. Strollers are not permitted.

Creepy Halloween Village at Black Creek Pioneer Village 2021

Black Creek Pioneer Village is offering two Halloweens tours this year: Halloween Fun and Halloween Hauntings. Kids can wear their Halloween costumes on both tours:

The Halloween Fun Tour features games, visits with farm animals, listening to ghost stories around a campfire, a scavenger hunt, a seance and a barnyard visit. This tour is appropriate for families with kids 8 and under. Adult $22 + HST; Child (3-14) $10 plus HST. Purchase tickets online.

The Halloween Hauntings Tour includes the Gruesome Medicine Show, a spooky seance, stories of Victorian Murder & Mayhem, and a tour of the House in Mourning. This tour is appropriate for families with kids 8 and older. Adult $22 + HST; Child (3-14) $18 plus HST. Purchase tickets online.

Halloween Haunt at Canada’s Wonderland 2021

Halloween Haunt returns to Canada’s Wonderland in 2021, transforming the Toronto theme park into a scream park filled with Halloween thrills and chills! Immerse yourself in Haunt, where the streets are filled with hundreds of monsters, terrifying scare zones, ghoulish street performers, live music, thrilling night rides, and electrifying live shows.

As a result of COVID-19, all indoor haunted mazes will be transformed into new outdoor experiences so there will be fewer places to hide!

Reservations are required. This event is not recommended for children under 13. Guests will not be permitted into Halloween Haunt if wearing make-up/costumes. Guests who leave Halloween Haunt will not be granted re-entry to the event. Guests must arrive at Haunt prior to 11 p.m.

The Eatonville Farmhouse Séance

Jaymes White invites groups of 13-16 guests to The Eatonville Farmhouse Séance, a chilling recreation of an authentic Victorian Séance. The event has been sold out for the past five years. Experience undeniable fear at one of Toronto’s last remaining Victorian-era farmhouses. This experience is not intended for the weak or faint of heart. The Séance runs from October 1, 2021 to November 27, 2021. Tickets are $66.66 plus HST and can be purchased online. Must be 18+. Meet at The Red Cardinal Tavern at 555 Burnhamthorpe Rd. #102. You will then be escorted within a short walking distance to The Séance location.

I hope you enjoy these Toronto events for Halloween 2021.
