June is here and that means strawberries will be ready for picking soon! There is nothing like fresh strawberries to enjoy in your smoothie bowl or on your cereal at breakfast or even added to your lunchtime salad like this one. If you’ve bought U.S. strawberries from the grocery store, you’ll be amazed at how much sweeter freshly picked Ontario strawberries are! You will also save money if you pick your own strawberries versus buying them in the grocery store. Strawberry picking near Toronto makes a fun event for the whole family.
