I love watching movies and I enjoy them even better outdoors and with an audience! It reminds me of going to the drive-in with my family when I was a kid. We were always excited about getting some popcorn from the snack bar or checking out the swings in the playground before the movie started. I think that’s what the outdoor movie trend is capitalizing on: these nostalgic memories of going to the drive-in in the summer. The whole outdoor summer experience makes the movie even better than if it were watched indoors! I’m going to try and get out to one of these outdoor movies in Toronto this summer!

Bell Manor Park in Etobicoke will be hosting outdoor movie screenings from August 17-19, 2023. The films screened include:

Coco – Saturday, August 19, 2023
Eats and treats are at 6 p.m. Bring your own blankets and chairs. Films will be screened at sundown, which is around 8:15 p.m.
