Labour Day weekend is the last official weekend of the summer; it’s time to strike off those summer must-do’s from your bucket list! If you’re looking for things to do Labour Day weekend in Toronto 2023 for the whole family, this is your event. The Toronto International BuskerFest takes place at Woodbine Park on Labour Day Weekend from Friday, September 1, 2023 to Monday, September 4, 2023. Hours are Fri., Sept. 1, 2023 from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Sat., Sept. 2, 2023 from noon to 10 p.m.; Sun., Sept. 3, 2023 from noon to 10 p.m.; and Mon., Sept. 4, 2023 from noon to 7 p.m. The Family Fun Zone closes are sunset each day. General Admission is $10; Children under 12 $5; Early Bird Family Pass (up to 2 adults and 2 children under 12) $20; Early Bird Friend Pass (up to 4 adults) $30. Woodbine Park is located at 1695 Queen St. E. There are nearby parking lots, as well as street parking.

Air Show at CNE 2023
One of the most popular Labour Day Weekend events in Toronto 2023 is the Air Show at the Canadian National Exhibition. Without fail, the Canadian Forces Snowbirds will be returning as the main attraction, but the 2023 Air Show will also feature:
- the U.S. Navy Blue Angels
- the United States Air Force F-16 Viper demonstration
- the Canadian Forces CF-18 demonstration
- 81-year-old Gord Price in his Yak50
The Air Show in Toronto takes place on Saturday, September 2, 2023, Sunday, September 3, 2023 and Monday, September 4, 2023. Watch the Air Show at the CNE waterfront beginning at 12 p.m. and ending at 3 p.m. Admission to the Air Show is free with CNE admission. Tickets to sit in the Exclusive Air Show Zone, which is located directly in front of center stage and has live narration of the event playing throughout, are $80 plus tax and ticket service fee and can be purchased online. (This fee includes admission to the CNE.)

A Year with Frog and Toad at The Wychwood Theatre
Take the kids to see the Tony-Award-nominated A Year with Frog and Toad at The Wychwood Theatre on the Labour Day weekend. The musical tells the story of a friendship that lasts through all seasons and features an upbeat score that will appeal to all ages. Performances are on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 12 noon and 3:30 p.m. and Sunday, September 3, 2023 at 12 noon and 3:30 p.m. Tickets are General Admission Adults $36.99, General Admission Under 12 $35.99, Front Row $42.99.

Dream in High Park 2023
Dream in High Park continues at High Park Amphitheatre for summer One of the most popular Toronto events on the Labour Day Long Weekend is Dream in High Park, Canadian Stage’s production of a Shakespeare play. This year, Canadian Stage will perform Shakespeare’s romcom A Midsummer Night’s Dream at High Park Amphitheatre. Directed by Jamie Robinson, the play takes place on the night before Theseus and Hippolyta’s royal wedding when four young Athenians escape to the forest to find true love. In the forest, the fairy Puck has some fun with his magic love potion while a group of workmen rehearse a (hilarious) play for the wedding.
Performances on Labour Day weekend 2023 are on Friday, September 1, 2023, 8 p.m., Saturday, September 2, 2023, 8 p.m., and Sunday, September 3, 2023, 8 p.m. Tickets are $29 plus HST. Pay What You Wish tickets are available online at noon the day of the performance or at the gate beginning two hours before the performance. Pay What You Wish tickets start at $5. Runtime is 90 minutes. High Park Amphitheatre is located at High Park, 1873 Bloor Street West.
