August is here, which means we are in the second half of summer! Torontonians know that the arrival of August means that the CNE is not too far away. Attending the CNE is one of the most fun Toronto events of the summer because there is so much to see and do. Some of the most popular things to do at the CNE include attending the Air Show, watching the SuperDogs perform, trying new culinary delights at the Food Building, and of course, taking a spin on stomach-turning rides on the Midway. The CNE Fountain Show “Sparking Symphony”

The dazzling new CNE Fountain Show “Sparking Symphony” takes place every evening on Lake Ontario. The glorious display features 11 dancing fountains that sprout water up to 100 feet, backed by high-energy music and illuminated by multi-coloured lights and lasers.

The Pink Floyd Exhibition: Their Mortal Remains

If you’re a fan of this 70s and 80s rock super group, you’ll definitely want to catch The Pink Floyd Exhibition: Their Mortal Remains at the CNE this year. Located at the Better Living Centre, this interactive event takes visitors on a thrilling experience while they learn about the band’s history and personal stories up until the 2000s. See over 350 band artifacts such as handwritten lyrics, letters and instruments that reflect Pink Floyd’s lengthy career.

Tickets for The Pink Floyd Exhibition: Their Mortal Remains are: Ages 13+: $53.10; Ages 6-12: $22.12; VIP (includes front of the line access, souvenir VIP Pink Floyd Exhibition laminate and lanyard, Pink Floyd Exhibition coffee table book, Pink Floyd Exhibition tote bag) $110.62.

The Acrobatic and Skating Show 2023

The CNE’s new Acrobatic and Skating Show, Time Flies, returns after a five year absence. The show will feature dazzling performances from world class ice skaters, xtreme skaters and circus artists. Travel through the last 12 decades with the help of popular songs that have stood the test of time. Three-time World Champion, two-time Olympic silver medalist and seven-time Canadian champion Elvis Stojko will take this show to new levels. Global entertainment including acrobats from Switzerland, Konterschwung, will perform amazing feats. The Acrobatic and Skating Show takes place twice daily at the Coca-Cola Coliseum from August 18, 2023 to September 4, 2023.
