Wicked at the Princess of Wales Theatre 2024

The popular musical, Wicked, returns to Toronto at the Princess of Wales Theatre with the U.S. touring cast. The musical reimagines the stories of the Good Witch and Bad Witch of The Wizard of Oz before Dorothy arrives. I had a chance to catch a recent matinee performance and can attest that the lead actors Austen Danielle Bohmer (Glinda) and Lauren Samuels (Elphaba) both have outstanding voices, the production is electrifying and the score contains many songs you’ll be singing the next day including “I’m Not That Girl,” “No Good Deed,” “No One Mourns the Wicked,” and “As Long As You’re Mine”. Performances of Wicked on Canada Day Weekend 2024 are on Friday, June 28, 2024 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, June 30, 2024 at 1:30 p.m.

Run time is 2 hours and 45 minutes including one intermission. Tickets are $249, $199, $149 and $109. Purchase tickets online at Mirvish or at the Princess of Wales Theatre Box Office. The Princess of Wales Theatre is located at 300 King Street West. Recommended for ages 8+. Read my review of Wicked.
