The city’s diverse culture ensures that there is a wide variety of cuisine to sample at food festivals including South Asian, Caribbean, Italian and more. Toronto Halal Bites Festival 2026
The Toronto Halal Bites Festival takes place on May 15-17, 2026 at Nathan Phillips Square. This three-day food, culture, and art festival celebrates halal cuisine, community, and artistic expression. Enjoy live art installations, an Art Gallery, cultural performances, a Live Cooking Show, and interactive exhibits that showcase the rich artistic traditions of various communities. The festival hours are:

Festival of South Asia 2026
The 24th Festival of South Asia 2025 takes place on July 11-12, 2026 at the Gerrard India Bazaar. Gerrard Street East from Glenside Avenue to Coxwell Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic for the festival. Enjoy a Kids Zone, Rising Star Talent Competition, South Asian dance performances and of course sampling of delicious South Asian cuisine from restaurants at the Gerrard India Bazaar.
Island Eats Food and Travel Festival 2026
Head to Mel Lastman Square on Saturday, June 13, 2026 and Sunday, June 14, 2026 for the Island Eats Food and Travel Festival. Enjoy fun activities, live music, beautiful costumes, and visit over three dozen food and beverage pavilions with Caribbean delicacies such as Jamaican Jerk Chicken and roti. There will also be a marketplace. The main stage will feature performances by local and international DJs, musicians and dance troupes.

Toronto Waterfront Night Market 2026
The 17th annual Toronto Waterfront Night Market returns to Hotel X Toronto in 2026. The Pan-Asian food festival takes place August 14-16, 2026 and features a food festival, live music, a floating water lantern. Shop for unique gifts at the artisan market. Friday and Saturday are 19+ only while Sunday is all ages.

T.O. Food and Drink Fest 2026
Toronto foodies will enjoy visiting T.O. Food and Drink Fest 2026 at Metro Toronto Convention Centre from April 17-19, 2026. The popular Toronto food festival features over 200 exhibitors, local chefs, wineries, breweries, food trucks, cooking demos and a DJ.
This is a 19+ event. ID must be presented at the door.

Riverside Eats and Beats Streetfest 2026
The 12th annual Riverside Eats and Beats Streetfest returns in 2026. This popular Toronto east end food festival, takes place on Saturday, June 6, 2026 along Queen Street East from the Don Valley Parkway to just beyond De Grassi Street. The food festival features over 50 eateries and shops offering food specials and sidewalk sales. You can also enjoy beer gardens, demos, giveaways and live music. Children’s entertainment will include a magic show and face painting.
Riverside Eats and Beats Streetfest hours are Saturday, June 6, 2026 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. The event is free. Queen Street East will remain open during the festival.
Taste of Little Italy 2026
One of the most popular food festivals in Toronto in 2026 is the return of Taste of Little Italy to College Street from Friday, June 12, 2026 to Sunday, June 14, 2026. Hosted by Little Italy BIA, the free street festival features a main stage, live music performances, extended patios, carnival rides and vendors. It’s the perfect opportunity to sample food from a variety of restaurants (food must be purchased).
Taste of Little Italy hours are Friday, June 12, 2026 from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.; Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.; and Sunday, June 14, 2026 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The free festival takes place on College Street from Bathurst Street to Shaw Street in Toronto.
