Hockey Hall of Fame has long been a must-see Toronto attraction for hockey fans. Being one of them myself, I was excited to be invited to Hockey Hall of Fame’s Industry Night held on April 2, 2026. The purpose of the event was not only to highlight all of the NHL memorabilia that is contained within The Hockey Hall of Fame, but also to showcase the stunning venue.
I was dazzled by all of the displays of the incredible memorabilia from some of the NHL’s legends. There was one room devoted to the great Montreal Canadiens players of the 70s including Guy LaFleur, Yvan Cournoyer, Bob Gainey, Ken Dryden, Larry Robinson and Jacques Lemaire; the team won four consecutive Stanley Cups from 1976-1979!
We enjoyed innovative appetizers and drinks from caterers Daniel et Daniel, Marigolds and Onions, and Eatertainment.
The adorable robot server made sure everyone was fed!
Upstairs, the J.P. Wiser 1857 Room was giving speakeasy vibes with red lighting, black leather sofas and a vintage fireplace. The bartender was mixing drinks made with the historic Canadian whiskey brand. We also received a beautiful silver J.P. Wiser whiskey flask to take home!
There was a definite buzz while entering the Esso Great Hall. The historic hall was constructed in 1885 to be the Bank of Montreal’s new headquarters. The 45-foot high room is crowned by a stunning stained-glass dome. The hall can be rented out for receptions or banquets. The hall is also home to all of the major NHL trophies, honorary plaques and the Stanley Cup (the Permanent one…the original is located in Lord Stanley’s Vault).
The best part of the evening for this hockey fan was having my photo taken by Event Imaging with the Stanley Cup!
Hockey Hall of Fame is not only an exciting Toronto attraction to visit for any hockey fan, but it’s also a gorgeous venue for corporate events, weddings, or receptions.
