Downtown Toronto is abuzz with excitement about the 2026 FIFA World Cup and patios will be in demand more than ever. There is another gorgeous patio that has opened and which is fairly close to BMO Field at Exhibition Place where games will be held: Harriet’s Summer House presented by Casamigos.

Harriet’s Rooftop, which is located at 1 Hotel Toronto, has undergone a refresh in a gorgeous green theme with oversized teal and grey sectionals, oval-shaped black coffee tables, lush plants and the same spectacular views of the City of Toronto skyline and CN Tower. The couches are so well spaced so that you when you’re seated at one with your besties, you feel like you’re in your own living room.

The cocktails presented by Casamigos are really spectacular looking. The special cocktail menu includes:

  •  Mezcaloma – Casamigos Mezcal, Briottet Pamplemousse, Lime, Grapefruit Soda
  •  Spicy Cactus – Casamigos Blanco, Cointreau, Briottet Cactus Pimente, Pineapple, Agave
  •  Ocean Drive – Casamigos Blanco, St-Germain Blue Curacao, Lime, Agave, Edible Glitter
  •  Mango Slusharita – Casamigos Blanco, Cointreau, Mango Puree, Lime, Agave

We also sampled the food menu that includes:

We started with the Shiso Watermelon Salad, which was a standout. These mouthwatering skewers were made with cubed watermelon, cucumber, mango, scallion, shiso, wakame, red cabbage, jalapeno in a soy and sesame dressing. The combination of sweet and spicy was so addictive that I had three of them!

The Crispy Vegetable Spring Rolls were so good. They were indeed crispy and contained a good portion of chopped, cooked veggies.

Okonomiyaki Tots were made with house-spiced crispy potato tots with yuku jalapeno aioli, mayochup and chipotle coconut sweet chili sauce. I didn’t try the Okonomiyaki Tots because I’m on a low carb diet, but my fellow content creators enjoyed them!

Lobster Rolls were the highlight of the menu and featured poached lobster, brioche, celery, onion, cilantro, lobster aioli, sesame and served with Furikake chips. Unfortunately, I didn’t try the lobster roll since I’m allergic to lobster, but my fellow content creators said they were delicious!

  1. What a beautiful spot to have on the radar for summer! The Casamigos cocktail menu sounds like it was put together with real care. The Shiso Watermelon Salad in particular sounds like the perfect thing to eat on a warm evening up there. A great tip about the proximity to BMO Field during the World Cup too.

    • Hi Meeta, The Shiso Watermelon Salad was so refreshing. I want to try and make it at home. Yes, this patio is pretty close to the 2026 FIFA World Cup action! Cheers, Lori

  2. Well, you need to know that your vivid descriptions completely sold me on booking my own experience there. Can’t wait now!

  3. Lori, your coverage of Harriet’s Summer House captures the vibrant atmosphere beautifully, making this Toronto destination especially appealing.

  4. WOW, what a beautiful rooftop spot for summer gatherings! The views of the Toronto skyline and CN Tower sound absolutely stunning, and the refreshed décor looks like the perfect blend of elegance and comfort. The Shiso Watermelon Salad sounds especially refreshing for a warm day, and those specialty cocktails are almost too pretty to drink.

  5. Harriet’s Summer House has a great vibe, especially the views from the rooftop! The food and drinks at the event look so tasty.

  6. I live in the DFW area and we are hosting part of the World Cup too. I can’t imagine the amount of prep work has gone into the surrounding businesses just like at this hotel. Unfortunately it’s very hot in the Texas summer so patios may not be so ideal. I love sitting on the patio when it’s nice outside. The food looks amazing too.
