If you live in the central west part of Toronto, you may look forward to late spring when the Trinity Bellwoods Farmers Market comes alive at the northwest corner of Trinity Bellwoods Park (Dundas St. W. and Shaw St.). The market has found a perfect home in this downtown park where regular customers arrive every Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. to purchase organic produce such as lettuce, kale, broccoli, asparagus, tomatoes, peppers, strawberries, raspberries, peaches, pears, plums, and wild blueberries when in season. You’ll also find certified naturally grown grass-fed beef and lamb, spring-fed farmed trout, organic bread, as well as meat pies and quiche made from organic and natural ingredients.

If you’re feeling whimsical, visit Shane (pictured in green shirt) at Under Ground Organics at the Trinity Bellwood Farmers Market, who will assemble an eye-catching bouquet of organic flowers for about $10 and up.
Excellent post. I will have to visit this market next time I’m in Toronto. Rob
